Creating the world of Baba Blast
Baba Blast is a children’s entertainment project built around teaching kids resilience through learning, imagination, and larger-than-life adventures.
My work has spanned the entire creative production process—from filming and photography to editing, visual effects, animation, motion graphics, sound design, thumbnails, promotional content, and final delivery. Over the course of the project, I’ve produced more than 100 educational videos and 12 original music videos, helping create a growing visual world around the Baba Blast character.

Behind the Production
Many of the finished videos begin with a performer, a green screen, and an idea. From there, live-action footage is combined with environments, animation, visual effects, compositing, and other digital techniques to build the finished world around the performance.
Each project presents a different creative problem, which has pushed me to continually develop new techniques and workflows rather than relying on a single production approach.
Beyond The Video
As the visual scope of the project expanded, I began incorporating 3D environments, animation, visual effects, and emerging generative tools alongside traditional production techniques. The goal was never to use technology simply because it was new—it was to find practical ways to create scenes and ideas that would otherwise be difficult or impossible within the project’s production constraints.
Building New Worlds
The work extended beyond individual videos into the larger visual presence of the project, including YouTube thumbnails, promotional photography, product content, and social media assets.
Photography
Photography became another part of the visual world surrounding the videos, supporting promotional content, thumbnails, products, and the broader Baba Blast brand.
My Role
My role evolved alongside the project. What began as traditional video production grew to include photography, animation, visual effects, compositing, 3D environments, design, and new creative technologies. I worked across the process from production through final delivery, continually developing new workflows to turn increasingly ambitious ideas into finished work.
